Free bag patterns

HI All
I'm a new member and on my first post I mentioned I make fabric handbags to order off a Facebook page, a couple of the ladies welcomed me and said they had bought bag patterns but hadn't got round to making them yet - the thought came to me that as I am FAR too tight to buy a pattern perhaps some of you don't know Craftsy (as well as many other places) 'sell' free bag patterns.
Hope this may be of some help to someone.....

I "bought" the Ethel tote from Craftsy and it was great! Got me a bit hooked on bag making...

Thank you for that link.

One or two of them have a Japanese theme, could be suitable for next month's sewalong :)
Brenda.  My machines are: Corona, a 1953 Singer 201K-3, Caroline, a 1940 Singer 201K-3, Thirza, 1949 Singer 221K, Azilia, 1957 Singer 201K-MK2 and Vera, a Husqvarna 350 SewEasy about 20 years old. Also Bernina 1150 overlocker and Elna 444 Coverstitcher.

Thank you LL!  Some very nice patterns there.  I like the first one.....

Jessie, who is very happy to be here!!  :),  but who has far too many sewing machines to be healthy, and a fabric stash which is becoming embarrassing.

Read Fran's post about it.

Essentially it's just a theme that anyone on here can join in with sewing.  This month it's white. Next month it's Japanese inspired.

Thanks for the info, I will be interested to see the wonderful things you all produce - too clever for me I'm afraid - I only make bags!

Bags are welcome in the sewalong!

It just had to be Japanese inspired.

We'd love to have you sew along!
