Made on the V3, then stitched closed by hand. I used a too thick stabiliser, hence the white edges. But it’s just for me so it’s fine.

I was considering a teeny dress form pin cushion for the Access All Accessories Swap but knew the hand-sewn finishing would defeat me :(

I love little houses.  :loveit:
I've made them from Lego, Meccano, Bayko (the Bayko came out of my cousin's granny's house) anything I can get my hands on really. I even made him indoors a tea cosy in the form of a stone cottage (he used to make them) but I noticed this morning that the stuck on window pieces are falling off.  :( I think I need one like yours now @fajita
@Iminei I don't know how tiny you want your mannikin but Debbie Shore does one with only about 1/4" of hand sewing that won't be seen.  :)Pin cushion. Personally I'd make the base heavier and the pole shorter but it's a start. Her dog cracks me up.

Did I hear her correctly ???

You need a couple of bits of fabric and a bit of dowelling about a quarter of an inch long ?????

Id hate to see her seam allowances

I made one using Simplicity 8532, I used a wooden barbecue skewer as the leg of the mannequin and despite the requirements list asking for 3/8 yd!!!! of each of two fabrics, got the pincushion and scissors case out of decent size scraps of patchwork cotton's.
The pattern also includes pattern weights, sewing machine cover / mat, scraps bag, needle case so is reasonable value for money.

Himself keeps threatening to build a hobbit house in the garden. It must be a ‘thing’.

I'm thinking that a dress form pin cushion might feel a bit like a voodoo doll.

@fajita that’s adorable. What did you use to fill it?

@Sara-S thankyou. It has plastic beads on a cardboard base to give a little bit of stability, and filled with polyester toy stuffing. I had planned to fill it with nut shells, I do have a bag of them, but I can’t find them.

Here's another one @Iminei. The only hand sewing is optional.
