I went to this shop yesterday and had a lovely browse around.  They have a large collection of notions, quilting fabrics and I tried out some fabulous electric scissors (£159.00!!!!!!) which i did NOT buy.

Isn't it World of Sewing rather than Sewing World?

They have a branch in Pratts Bottom (real place name) which I browse around every so often. Some of the 'compatible' items they stock seem to be quite pricey compared with genuine article, but their machine prices are reasonable.

Quite right @Mr Twingo - it's world of sewing :|
I've been to the PB store also.  I know some of the notions are a little more expensive, but it's worth it to me to browse and see the real thing, rather than always shopping online.

Totally agree. Some things need to be seen and touched. So much of what is sold online is ghastly cheap tat. When I want those little findings, there's nothing like a physical shop run by people who know their stuff.

And if it's a local shop, all the better.
