I have several many WIP (works in progress) in bags for life (handy for taking to sewing group/class), zippy wallets and carrier bags.  They take up most of the floor space in my sewing space.

I wondered if you could advise me of a better way to store them. I’m wondering about plastic project boxes.

Really useful boxes are excellent because they are strong and stack.

Live Really Useful Boxes.  Use them for my threads.  My current projects usually sit on my cutting table.

If the WIP is not of mammoth content I use (un-used) pizza boxes that I have bought from the local pizza place. They come in different sizes, keep my blocks etc nice and flat, and the boxes store very neatly on top of each other or other things. Currently I have a couple stored under my cutting/work table...if anyone walks into my sewing room they must think I'm a very lazy person leaving discarded pizza boxes under the table

Scrapbook paper plastic storage boxes work well. I can have 2 or 3 cut out garments in one of them. They stack nicely. I buy Iris but there is another pricier brand with handles that some of the gals use to tote quilting projects around in.

I can usually get them for half price a couple of times per year.
Hey Bill! Read the manual!  Hehehe.
