Lovely!  :loveit:
I'm keeping my dotty reeds for 'best'. I might cut out 1" squares for oar ends.

Dinner plates on one and a simple old ruler on the other.

No problem @Bjay  :) I'm flattered that somebody liked it this much.
I just make it up as I go along.

I’m going to be plagiarising quite a few quilting ideas, when I get round to it. I did toy with the idea of QAYG, but have decided to do a conventional quilt. Just waiting for more sashing fabric to arrive to sew my blocks together, before I get round to quilting. May well copy yours @Sandra .

Wish I'd copied somebody's. Mine's dead boring.  :[

Been a Looooong day of catching up on 3 months worth! Five blocks completed today!

I turned the corners squares on the first one, just because I liked them better this way. The second one I did NOT enjoy. Too many small pieces and bulky corners. I think I'd like to try this one on a larger scale though, maybe as a single-block throw.

@Lilian Pink wasn't my first choice either, but when you let a 3yo granddaughter choose the fabric, you get pink!
