Hello Everyone

I’m Emma, from Huddersfield west Yorkshire and I got my first sewing machine a week ago! I have been wanting a machine for a long time. My husband surprised me with a Brother Fs130qc. I was very excited.

I couldn’t wait to set started, I have made some tote bags and a few zippy lined bags and a peg bag. I’m looking for new things to make, I have really enjoyed what I have made so far.

I’m looking forward to learning new things and getting some new ideas.   0_0

Hi there, I grew up in Huddersfield!   There is a sewing machine shop in one of the arcades.  I expect all the fabric and wool places have shut up shop.  Might still be a bit of stuff in the market.  You are going to love it here.

Welcome @Lemz79 and I hope you like our little place and find it helpful.  A word of warning, though, beware the darkside that is patchwork and quilting.

Your Brother machine is a step up from the model I have, but it suits my modest needs.
