Wall Hanging...another Carl Hentsch pattern

Starting to take shape, just need to make another 3/4 block to "go on top" and then I can put centre circles and backgrounds on. I'm just not sure what colour the centres will be. The backgrounds will be a grunge cream mottle but I feel the centres need to be a bold colour...maybe a dark mottled green perhaps. This has been put together just using what stuff I have...am determined not to purchase fabric atm.   Very happy with how this is coming together. Have I ever mentioned how much I love fpp!

.....and in my usual "second guessing" style I'm now re-thinking my blade groups to give it better balance.  :thinking:

Is this a better balance of colours than the first picture for my wall hanging, keeping in mind there will be another 3/4 block on top of these 2, and their centres and backgrounds will be a mottled grunge cream. I really am unsure about which layout is the better..... :thinking: help!
