Sewing in Sheffield
« on: September 24, 2020, 18:33:37 PM »
Hi everyone,

I’m Scottish, lived in London for 8 years and then moved to Sheffield. I’ve been sewing intermittently since I started uni (so half my life now). It’s the hobby that has stayed with me through exams, houseshares, my wedding and now two kiddies. Sheffield has a good sewing scene but I will chat to anyone anywhere about sewing. I’m looking forward to joining in some challenges soon.  :D

Hello @cakeymcdoodle.  I have been reading the Pattern review Wardrobe contest 2020 discussion thread and recognise your name from there.  I like some of your patterns, too.
What goes around comes around.

@UttaRetch thanks! Yeah I’m the maniac that sewed five days straight to get it finished before I started work again. I’m glad I can slow down again. I’m planning a big dressing gown for the warm and cosy contest.

I’m also interested in the upcycling contest here. I have a skirt and pair of jeans needing something drastic done to them!
