The more you rip out the better you get at it. Just sayin'.

I did that back in the dark ages, when I made my first quilt! I tried to pair smallish blocks with biggish ones to even it out. We all learn by our mistakes and it will no doubt look great even if less than perfect.  :D

That's looking good.  If you're putting sashing between the blocks you will have some leeway to even out bits that are not quite right - you can do a lot with a bit of judicious pulling and pushing.  If something just won't play nicely you can ususlly just undo the end of a seam and restitch it a little bit bigger or smaller.
Life's too short for ironing.

well my back is sore from sewing most the day plus my finger slipped onto the rotary blade,  it would never stop bleeding. I finished off the sashing, now i want to do two borders. What you think should I do a border with the left over strips.

That looks great!  That's the sort of thing that I usually do with the border - using leftover bits - will you do another black border outside it?

Hope the finger is recovering.
I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.

Personally I don't think it needs a border - it takes away from the drama of the quilt itself, but it's your quilt so your decision. :)
