It weighs 20kg, but it doesn't look that big, and looking at the brochure, it looks like it does 1600 spm According to one review it had a lifetime guarantee. To change the bobbin case you have to tilt the machine so you need muscles to buy. It isn't very pretty either.

I think the bobbin is accessed via the slide plate? But I agree with you about the rest
