I seem to have come to a stand still as I am working every day.  However, my sewing classes in two weeks have been cancelled so I'm hoping to use one of those days to start putting together the blocks I have quilted.  Not sure I'll finish by the end of the year, though.

Just the last section of hand-stitching to do @Iminei . It needs full daylight so hours in the day quickly run out. Several things have come up in the last few days that prevented me from sewing. Hoping to finish today.

Got the binding on , so here is my 2020 Out of the Blue quilt. :D Last photo is my little granddaughter trying not to let the quilt upstage her ! She was being watched while her Mum was at her midwife appointment and I had to make use of short bit of daylight we have now.

Badge, please. I'd be happy to collect, sometime.

My label is in. I thought I'd put it down one side, turns out it's at the top   However, the quilt doesn't have to be used in a particular orientation so it doesn't matter that much.

OK, I've finally crossed the finish line

Here are some closer-up bits to prove that I've done exactly what Miss Imi said  :P

Label, flangey-pani and mitred corner.

Back of label and proof that under the flangey-pani there is at least one pointy point  ;)

I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.

Thanks, @Puzzler .  Hopefully you won't have to wait too long.

Doesn't the Festival of Quilts have a section for first quilts?  You should enter yours, @Flobear .

@Flobear that is fabulous, a brilliant first quilt and it looks almost 3D - I think its the black.  I like a good flange and I don't go in for borders much.  It must be in the genes  :)
Life's too short for ironing.

Uts acually a really dark brown batik(?) @Ploshkin  ... which sets off the dark red beautifully ... she is a natural!

These are all absolutely amazing, I love to see the way different colour choices impact on the final outcome. You are all amazing.
