Mini Challenge 2 - Soft and Snuggly (16-22 Nov) - Knitters welcome

SewRuthieSews

Sorry for the delay work was busy!

Ok the next mini challenge theme is SOFT and SNUGGLY. This could be something from fleece, a knitted item, a use of faux fur etc.
I'm thinking fleece jackets, knitted or sewn scarves or hats, teddy bears, blankets/cushions or a nice cardigan. Thought if you can explain why its Soft and Snuggly thats good enough for me.
Anything sewn, or knitted (hand or machine) can be entered.

I'll probably make a cardigan from some sweater knit yardage I have.

As before folks, no prizes other than the joy of sharing your fabulous make with other likeminded people.

Well I've not cut anything out yet but I've found suitable grey thread, threaded the overlocker and sewing machine and done a bit of test stitching. All good so far. just need to find the pattern, decide the size, trace/cut out and go.

Oops maybe this should be on the cardigan thread!

I am thinking slippers as we're basically staying home. Then last night I stumbled on a super simple fleece slipper. Now I'm hoping I remembered to save the YouTube video.

If I manage to do it and they're comfy I'll make a few more for gifts. I'll also share the info if it's good.
Hey Bill! Read the manual!  Hehehe.

Yes count me in Soft and snuggle I can do, my problem might be deciding what to shown, at the moment I am knitting a cashmere lace scarf, might be that or maybe I could make another teddy bear (i only have ..............).

Off to the little room to see what I can do, this is just the excuse I need

@Celia, exciting to hear about the knitting. I'm not a knitter so am in awe of those who can.

I've knit a hat and have a 2nd one on the needles.

This one is made out of a lovely soft yarn and knit up very quickly. It's a messy bun hat pattern I've made many times but not with this yarn.

The one I am working on now is made from another yarn I've never knit with before. This yarn has not been twisted so it splits easily. I am quite liking the way the colors are flowing in this one.

These hats will be sent to someone. Everyone loves them as they are soft and snuggly to wear in the winter. DD has 6 I have made and she wears them all the time. I'll post pictures when the second one is done.

Here they are the yellow one is the one I am knitting at the moment but as they take a bit longer than a week I have photographed the coral one, they are both knitted in 2 strands of fine cashmere.

I've posted my cardigan over on the cardigan thread. Maybe not the best match of fabric and pattern, but lightweight, warm and comfortable to wear.

I finished a crochet hat I had started a while back.  The yarn is very soft and fluffy.  The flower I chose from a bag full I had previously made.
