Sew nice to be here!

Hi hi hi! I'm Bill from Bolton and just discovering machine sewing.
I started off about a month ago with a £30 mini machine from 'an online place' and quickly became frustrated with its limitations.
Seeeeeeew, I'm now the owner of a sparkly new Singer M2105. A simple machine by some standards but enough bells and whistles to keep me busy.
I've done a few simple bags for my bicycle tools etc and even managed a cylinder bag yesterday :D
My eldest daughter is now calling me grandma because of my new hobby
Look forward to meeting you...in a tinterweb sort of way :)

Excellent news that you're getting hooked, @Wayfarer . It's another power-tool (assuming you own some of those) and we look forward to helping you along the way.

Hi there @Wayfarer !  Nice to meet you, grab a brew and a slice of cake and join in.

Jessie

eta You do realise that this place is full of enablers...?  ;)
Jessie, who is very happy to be here!!  :),  but who has far too many sewing machines to be healthy, and a fabric stash which is becoming embarrassing.

I didn't think of that!
Not as many as I used to have but yes, guilty as charged with the power tools. I was into carpentry in a previous life now long departed.
I see a fluffy drill bit holder in my future...

Welcome @Wayfarer.  Beware of the enablers as before you know it, you'll be buying all sorts.  :D
