Can anyone make me a miniature teddy bear?

Odd request.
Let me explain.
The model yachts I build are built from plans drawn up by a lovely old man who, having built his model yachts  has them operated by a BEAR at the helm.
The bear operates the helm wheel and turns his head by radio control.
Their fim goes under the name of Bearospace industries and I think the bears are so cute.
Always did like teddy bears.
I will take care of the head turning and arm movements but I would like some one to hand sew up a bear for me about 5" high stood up.
I would like him to look old, with loss of fur almost down to the skin and to look cute.
I naturally expect to pay out for this.
If any of you are talented in this area, have a few remnants of old looking mohair and want a challenge then please pm me and we can discuss the project.
It means more to me to have an individually sewn bear.
I had a go at it myself with some miniature plans but like quilting, there is a black art to it that is beyond my skills.
Unless you know differently.
Mhhhh maybe I see a bear comp coming up?
Hee hee.
Come on be honest.
We all love teddies??

The Girl you need is Vegegrows ....... She made us TSP bear and his buddy

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

TSP Bear is  9 1/2" tall and his buddy is a teeny  5 1/2" tall

Sadly our darling Vege is no longer with us.

I suggest you scour the junk/charity or antique shops over there in Oz, especially as you want him to show his age.

Exactly what I thought @Iminei  (about Vegegrow).  She had very nifty fingers and a way with teddy bears.   :)
I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.

Sorry, Baskin is not available for adoption. He's what you describe though commercially made. He's a good 100 years old.

Sadly my Mother is  no longer available to make you one. She made bears and Father Christmas for the collector trade.

He'll be needing a jointed bear so the head can turn. That's challenging at that size.
Hey Bill! Read the manual!  Hehehe.

I would have thought that any reasonably sized toy shop would have miniature bears as well as larger ones. There are (or used to be?) also specialist teddy bear shops here. If you are not actually going to make it yourself I shouldn't think it would matter that it was a purchased one?

It is something that I do but I am concerned about getting it to you, posting from where I live at the moment is a problem how soon do you need him.   I will  add some photos of my bears later today so you can see if they are anything like you would want.

@Celia those bears are amazing. They have such beautiful fur, and remind me of good old fashioned teddies.

@Celia your bears are truly beautiful.
I have indeed searched thrift shops but nobody likes parting with bears of that quality.
It is the quality I am after.
I take many months to build a boat so I want a fitting Skipper for them.
All the bears you have kindly shown are gorgeous.
I would be after one just like the last picture with the rose in her head!
I would love that.
Living here in Oz we get used to having to wait for things so a wait is in order.
No worries with waiting.
I will pay your price asked plus postage.
Please let me know if you get the inclination.
You are very clever.

I love your bears @Celia . I haven't made a furry toy for many years - I sort-of feel inclined to have another go.
Would it be very cheeky to ask where you obtained a pattern for such little ones? They have such lovely shaped faces.

I wouldnt mind a go either but I would have to be coaxed through it.
I would love to make something so small and cute.
