I bought that 6 years ago (how do I know I checked on Amazon and it told me?) and I still haven't used it!!!!! another of those projects that I still have to do and I will because I like that book. Sorry I don't want to buy yours but thanks for the reminder, must dig it out.

It's about drawing different types of spirals, which are all on the CD, and ways of using them to get different effects, but it's not log cabin.  Mostly they need to be sewn using stitch and flip techniques.

Those examples  (row number 4 are) what I call Twisted LC...there were a lot of them at last years FoQ and I wanted to learn but couldn't find any  (decent) tuts.

Are they all Foundation or Paper pieced ?

Foundation piecing. 

But if you really wanted to punish yourself and hand sew  :thread:  you could print out a template, cut it up and use the pieces for English paper piecing. :devil:
