Bogeitandscarper's 1st entry (and probably last to be honest!)

Here's something to get you all to enter, cos you'll do a lot better than this  :S  0_0

It's a Christmas stocking for my eighteen month old grandson.

No pattern, made up by me, although the stitch design is built in to my Brother 950i knitting machine.  I also got the heel and toe method from somewhere on t'internet, but the toe bit wasn't worded very well, and I've not done it right, but hey, it works - kind of.

It took at least eleven attempts, due mainly to operator errors.  I used the biggest cone of red yarn you've ever seen that I acquired when I bought the (now sold) Pfaff.  It's a very thin yarn that had to be knitted as two strands together.

But after all that, I have one that will do  0_0

@Bodgeitandscarper , it's fabulous! Since he's not going to be wearing it it's perfectly fine if the toe isn't up to muster.

I truly love and appreciate the photo of all the abandoned versions. Most of us would have trashed the idea after a couple of tries. Kudos lady!  :toast:
Hey Bill! Read the manual!  Hehehe.

Your User Name and Entry Number: WildAtlanticWay

What is it and for whom:  2 Christmas face masks for me to wear when I do my weekly food shop.

Pattern/kit/instructions used: Self drafted pattern so that they fit my face perfectly and don’t gape.

Materials and tools used: Christmas print cotton fabrics. My new Brother Innov-is N1300 sewing machine, which is brill.  :)

A short description on how you made it, any problems overcome etc. : Like most of us on here, I’ve made lots of face masks now, so just a matter of repeating what I’ve done before but I added a white snowflake stitch as my top stitching for a bit of fun.

Thank you.  :)
It’s my lovely new Brother Innovis-is 1300. Honestly, I love it. It’s so quiet and just quietly gets on with whatever’s asked of it.  :loveit:

@SewRuthieSews Does it have to be festive fabric to count? I was thinking of making matching dresses for my girls for Xmas day but they will be pink! It's fine if they don't count. I'm following along anyway  :)

SewRuthieSews' Entry Number 1

I've made a sparkly top for me to wear on my festive Skype and Zoom calls.
The pattern is Style Arc Molly Top (though for now I've omitted the front pleat detail.)
The fabric a novelty knit fabric purchased pre lockdown from my local roll end shop. It is a black crinkled stretchy fabric printed with silver dots.
