This is the flipside of the Chinese forced labour cotton industry.

A definite antidote to the Chinese cotton workers.
I saw this earlier today and was struck by the fact that it is Prato, in Italy. Many years ago I came across a book The Merchant of Prato, by Iris Origo. This was drawn from a mass of 14th-century accounts and letters belonging to Francesco di Marco Datini, who had many business interests including the English wool trade. Clearly using and reusing wool goes back a long way.

If only more people thought like this.
