Hello!

I have been sewing for myself since the 70's, mostly garments, but have made quilts, soft furnishings, slipcovers, and re-upholstered a few chairs.  I love to knit, mostly socks and sweaters, and have recently discovered weaving which I hope to do a lot more of in 2021.

I moved to the UK from the US in 2012 bringing wayyy too many sewing and craft books, magazines, patterns and sewing machines (still operating on step-down transformers, knock wood).  The last few years I have been concentrating on fitting with mixed results.

When I am not actually sewing, I love reading about sewing and am happy to have found this forum.  Looking forward to sharing sewing ideas and projects and also new resources for fabric, yarn, and other supplies.
