I just made bias tape last night to do a bias faced hem on a shirt. I used my new bias tape maker and oh my god, it's a life changer. I don't know why I always poo-pooed them before. It literally took me a tenth of the time to make beautiful, tiny, narrow double fold!

Fran, are we talking an electric bias maker here?  or one of those metal tube thingies?

I quite fancy an electric one.... wonder if OH is listening.....

Oh Yes Fran, there is indeed!  I forget the make, but I remember someone on the old forum (maybe Esseesee?) who bought one, and thought it wonderful.

Maybe I'll look into it again, but it comes down to how much binding do I use?  Maybe it should go on the Amazon Wish List for Christmas?

Hopefully someone will come along who knows details of such a thing?
