Lovely - and I think it is an excellent thing for a knitting (or sewing) bag to be narrower at the bottom so that you can look at what's at the bottom rather than having to put your hand down into unseen depths.  That might just be me though!
I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.

Lovely!  I made my mum one years ago with a similar if not the same  design on the front.  It sits by her chair and has been in constant use.
