Straying out of the Darkside

Hi
So I am unsure whether to buy a roman blind or make  'good' weight curtain.

The landing window needs a single curtain. I have just taken down a very old and , on close inspection, tatty curtain.
It is so long since I made any curtains I need a bit of help with fabric widths and yardage.
The one I have taken down was 2 widths of 50inch wide fabric
Can I get stuff that wide?
Are there some decent curtain fabric shops online?

Curtain pole is 180cm
Trying to find my way on the Dark side

@Bjay try:

https://www.justfabrics.co.uk/

Their prices and quality are very good, they will send samples and, on the ordering page, if you put your measurements in, there is a calculator for the amount of fabric you need - including allowing for pattern repeats.

If you have any problem with your fabric, they are excellent to deal with.

@Bjay most home decor fabrics come 52 to 54 inches wide. After trimming off the selvedges they will be perfect.
Hey Bill! Read the manual!  Hehehe.
