That neckline is lovely, it looks very polished.

I had lots of skipped stitches DV, and also small stitches over humps.  The skipped stittches proved to be wrong needles, and the small stitches over humps were cured by a pad of fabric behind the needle to make it the same height.  The hump jumper was a little too high.

Differential feed is also a need to know, it helps loads.

Jessie, who is very happy to be here!!  :),  but who has far too many sewing machines to be healthy, and a fabric stash which is becoming embarrassing.

Carrying heavy bags of shopping from the car ???

I'll take your advice and use a small zigzag for now.

I also hate the thought of any machine getting the better of me; it would be like the unreliable boyfriend winning an argument!

0_0  Well if the boyfriend keeps arguing, it’s time to get a new boyfriend!  Some just aren’t worth keeping or up to the job.  Bit like machines!

The neckline makes me think of Sofia Loren - what lovely tshirts those are! I really like that neckline you drafted.

The coverstitch: I have good results since I changed to needles with a bigger eye - Schmetz has a 'black' needle for overlockers, which work really well. Together with a thin (120 Polyester) and good quality thread my machine can handle the speed with which the coverstitch has to get all those threads around each other...
