Saw that stunning piece of work on Pattern review.  For those that do facebook, more here.  For those who don't:

Making of Free Spirit
Over all 74 X 86 inches; she has 67,000 pieces ;
*Originally she had 72,000 pieces.
46 different fabrics used.
67 yards of fabric purchased to make this quilt.
15 spools of thread used.
Silk batting used to reduce the weight.
Three months for research and the purchasing of fabric.
15 months for sewing and for the construction.
Completed January 15, 2016, my 70th birthday and my seventh small piece project.
Each piece was sewn together using a Featherweight sewing machine or an at home domestic machine. I used a grid system and stayed very organized.
*Originally she had 72,000 pieces however she has been resized. She was 74 x 92. She was extremely long so I reduced her by six inches and she now has 67,000 pieces.

Jessie, who is very happy to be here!!  :),  but who has far too many sewing machines to be healthy, and a fabric stash which is becoming embarrassing.
