I have decided to challenge myself this year to sew at least one thing a day.
I came across this challenge to do one block a day for a year.

A block a day is quite a fun challenge when its for a month or couple of weeks ...
when its a year however it can become a whole different matter!!! Ask me how I know?!!!

Basically you get instructions, bit by bit, with no idea what the end product will look like. Can be brilliant, can be c**p, depending on how good the instructions are and whether you get much guidance on value placement, ie light, medium, dark.

@CraftyIrish good luck! I found a Block per Week challenging as I felt it stopped me from doing other projects I wanted to do...

I am going to do an appliqué BOM this year I think as a way of using up some of my scraps - I find it easier to use them up this way rather than in patchwork

I have loads of scraps that I want to use up and ill most like have loads more to come so this will be a way to use them all up. She does blocks 3" 6" and 12" and by the looks of the pic a big centre block

Still going strong and I'm finding a few blocks that I like and would make into quilts.
