Do new Pfaffs stitch as well as old Pfaffs?

I'm struggling to find a replacement for my Pfaff creative 2134 with a used newer pfaff (e.g. ambition 1.5) but I won't get the chance to test drive. 
Does anyone recommend a (newer) Pfaff model ?
