I may be interested Imi, but I'm just trying to decide whether I can manage to drive to Birmingham and also spend the day on my feet before coming back home.  When can I let you know?

Lilian, Yes that would be fine. Would she like to join TSP ?? and I would dearly love to see you at the show.

Twopence, I will be ordering the tickets on the 1st July, so any time before then....
but sooner would be better than later, just so I don't feel a complete fool for thinking peeps might be interested.

BTW ... Lots of seating areas, chill out zones, cafes etc at the show.

I mentioned this to my friend at the craft group, she wasn't planning on going and when I told her the price, she said it's usually about £6, but I don't think she has ever been.  We tend to keep to the local villages mostly as there are a lot about.  We were going to check the price, as we meet in the library, but didn't have time.  I will see what she says this Monday, maybe she checked online.  :vintage:

May I clarify on the Ticket pricing please .....

Tickets will cost

£12.00 per person,

this includes P&P, Royal Mail 1st Class
(If you wish recorded delivery, this will be charged at cost.)

There is also a Child ticket, Age range 5 - 18 that costs £6.00

and if you are buying a couple of tickets and having them delivered to one address,
you will not be charged the £1.00 I added to the group ticket price of £11.00 on any tickets above the first one.

So 2 tickets (to the same address) will cost you just £23.00!

Gotta be a bargain!
I bought my tickets before I realised that with so many needed for Sakars group this was an option, and even with an exhibitor discount they cost me more than £12.00!!!!

Anymore going to the FOQ this year and want to take up this fabulous offer ????

I'd absolutely love to go, but can never commit myself as I never know when I might be asked to go up and collect the girls for a week.Sometimes I get very little notice  :( Shame it's in August  :(

Maybe you should out your foot down one year,

Give them plenty of notice (like a month to 6 weeks ) and say

"I am more than happy to babysit but for one week only I will be unavailable" and make that week start and finish a couple of days before and after the show !!!

You wouldn't be disappointed like you were in Exeter you know!

I had been waiting to book my accommodation since the beginning of the year and suddenly (on June 1st) there were rooms available at the right price for me in the right hotel!!!

I have spoken about extending my room to the bookings clerk earlier this week who told me they had plenty of rooms available to extend to the Saturday night and for £59.00!!!
I don't know if this was just for me because I was already booked (actually cheaper than the rate I paid) but I'll tell you what Low, I'll take that room for you or you could share with me !!!

That's a gauntlet hitting the floor you can hear !!!!
