Bernina, so many Freebies!

I was looking for a shirtdress link which had been on the Bernina website, but unfortunately, no longer there.  ><

However, there are loads and loads of other free goodies if you fancy a browse, dressmaking, quilting, embroidery.

Here are a few samples: http://blog.bernina.com/en/2016/06/50s-dress-with-knotted-shoulders-free-sewing-pattern/

I don't think the website is very easy to negotiate, but when you get to the Bernina website, go to the Blog, then Archive.  Lots of stuff available.

Jessie, who is very happy to be here!!  :),  but who has far too many sewing machines to be healthy, and a fabric stash which is becoming embarrassing.

Hi b15erk, I do believe you are Jessie from TSL. If you remember me I'm Lynn from Maghull, you bought some knitting patterns from me a couple of years ago. My email was hacked so I lost a lot of contacts. TSL was disappearing a lot so didn't get the chance to catch up.
Anyway re your post above here's a link to the list of the free patterns off there  https://www.sewdifferent.co.uk/category/free-patterns/

Lovely dresses but what the hell is .....

Scuba fabric works perfectly for a dress like this. It holds its shape really well, and is VERY easy to work with. The only thing is that it can be a little bulky and I spent quite a bit of time snipping away any excess fabric on the pleats to make it sit well. It  feels nice to wear, very soft and smooth, although I’m not sure it would be so great in a hot climate. I think it might be a bit sticky!

Is it what I think it is ...mask, oxygen, flippers or ???  :S

Imi, no  0_0 You're thinking about neoprene. Scuba is double knit, super easy to work with. Unfortunately, as I found on another topic, a lot of people find it too hot and sweaty. It's fine for me tho.
