See them here.   I quite like the skirts in

but that's about it.

Hmmm.  Are big shoulders coming back?
Life's too short for ironing.

Ooh a zip up skirt in pleather! Just what I was looking for(not). M1851 takes the eye as well. How many of us want a skirt with that much ruching over the tummy?

Statement sleeves on me don't last long , they get caught on door handles etc. In short there is nothing there for me.

As well as the bum.  Mine is big enough and does not require augmentation.

Maybe the blouse with the big collar but almost all of it is very fitted - fine if you are young and thin but I'm neither.

I quite like the pleather skirt.  I also like white blouse with the sweetheart neckline.  I also like the lilac jumpsuit,  it the waistline doesn’t look to be in the right place.  Other than that....  nope.  I dont like these huge fussy collars and never got to grips with big, statement sleeves.

All those statement sleeves - quite hard to get your cardi over the top though.

Yeah the sleeves don't do much for me being a sleeveless sort most of the time. McCalls rarely has anything I like and this collection is no different.

There is a 50% off sale on all digital patterns in McCalls, Butterick and Kwik Sew for the next couple of days on the Something Delightful website. Quite a lot of Butterick and McC have digital options now and the pattern instructions are quite good. Brings them down to a reasonable price for those of us not in the USA.... though you have to print out and stick together several million pages. It uploads the pdf to your account and as far as I can see the digital patterns I've bought in the past are still in my account area so I think I could download them again if I wanted to. They don't do the large page size just A4 and similar so probably not worth zapping over to Patternsy for printing.

Very dissapointing collection. How to point out everything that one would not want to show- ><
Showed DW this collection and she was also not impressed!  The pictures of the models are also uninteresting, some of them appearing to be taken by an amateur photographer... One of them seems to be rather upset over something...

...it was a Hobbit hole, and that meant comfort.
