Hello from Lancashire
« on: January 31, 2021, 22:51:49 PM »
Hello everyone, I am excited to join your sewing community, and I am looking forward to broadening my sewing knowledge.
I have been sewing off and on all of my life but have been regularly sewing during the lockdown to keep me busy.
I am hoping that I can get some inspiration for getting a better finish and fit to the garments I make going forward.
I also hope to start a patchwork quilt ( I have the material, warding and thread) but feel intimidated and keep putting back in the cupboard.
Thanks for reading my post.

@Queen Bee , welcome from me too!
I'm probably closer to you than you'd like  :) , although I didn't start life as a Lancashire Lass. I've been up here for the last 38 years so think I've been accepted by the 'natives' ( I'd never go back to where I was born )

Jessie, who is very happy to be here!!  :),  but who has far too many sewing machines to be healthy, and a fabric stash which is becoming embarrassing.
