I didn't get up this morning with any idea of buying a new machine but I just have! After my nightmares with the curtains yesterday I thought I had sorted out the problem but having unpicked it all (again!) I have had the same problem again today. I haven't a hope of getting the machine serviced in the near future, so I did what several of you have recommended and phoned SMD. I spoke to Dave, not Russell but I can recommend him just as highly! After explaining what I wanted and needed I have bought an Elna Experience 520S, which I think is what my daughter bought last year. It's coming Wednesday!
