Zzzzz
I agree, and yes it's disappointing not to be offered a choice of sleeve lengths, necklines or whatever.
A couple of weeks ago I heard a psychologist (on 'The Last Leg' of all shows!) talking about how society reacted after the 1918-1919 spanish Flu epidemic. Medical knowledge then was then far less than it is now, but they wore face masks and socially distanced whilst that virus was rampant, then afterwards as it receded the reaction was to build cinemas etc to cram the crowds in and the fashions changed from mid thigh/ankle length hobble skirts and tight corsets to the shorter 'flapper styles'. I wonder how it will go this time. Lockdown has already seen a lot less demand for formal clothes, will it continue that way or will party frocks abound once we are let loose again?
