At least they are in fabrics that don't obscure the design, and appear to be well sewn and pressed.
That said I will never use them again, the ridiculous amount of ease is just a killer.

What a load of uninteresting-seen-it-all-before-boring styles, do they not have any designers with imagination these days?

Lots of boxy numbers and high, choking necklines. I like the trouser patter with the ankle cuffs and pockets but I am sure I can add those details to one of my Style Arc patterns.

I agree.
Life's too short for ironing.

Spot on.  Those high necklines are not good for us busty gals.

Simplicity seems to have gone down the Indie pattern route of only one garment per item.  I have never really used envelope patterns because I grew up with Burda magazines but I'm sure they used to have either several different garments per pattern or several very different variations  of one type of garment.  I can't imagine why anyone would buy S9229 for nearly $15.00 - its a knit T-shirt with at most 4 pattern pieces.   :faints:

I like the pink jacket but am also disappointed with the one item per pack.

I agree, and yes it's disappointing not to be offered a choice of sleeve lengths, necklines or whatever.

A couple of weeks ago I heard a psychologist (on 'The Last Leg' of all shows!) talking about how society reacted after the 1918-1919 spanish Flu epidemic.  Medical knowledge then was then far less than it is now, but they wore face masks and socially distanced whilst that virus was rampant, then afterwards as it receded the reaction was to build cinemas etc to cram the crowds in and the fashions changed from mid thigh/ankle length hobble skirts and tight corsets to the shorter 'flapper styles'.  I wonder how it will go this time.  Lockdown has already seen a lot less demand for formal clothes, will it continue that way or will party frocks abound once we are let loose again?
