The second B6241 View C. Finally got round to putting the zip in. I decided not to take the zip to the top of the collar because i wear it down and the wrong side of the zip would show, and it is plain. So i elongated the zip opening and didn't put the facing in because i didn't have any more fabric to re cut one. I have stabilised the zip area with interfacing although the pattern does not tell you to do this. On this one i have run some narrow elastic through the top of the pocket as i am not keen on the draping.

The elastic through the pockets works well, good idea. And yes, very nice zip!
