Decided to go with the yellow zip and went with
@Bodgeitandscarper
and did yellow top stitching. I spent ages pondering the pattern matching across the panels and forgot about it along the zip edge so it is slightly out.
I did end up re-cutting the collar and adding 1 1/2 inch to the length because despite several attempts i just could not get the collar in without the neck edge puckering.
