I keep reaching for the presser foot lever when I use the QE4.2
Somehow its more of a nuisance to press the raise and lower buttons on the front of the machine.  (I don't use the machine with a foot pedal).  I must try using the knee lift to see if I get on with that.

Some machines also have a knee lift.  Having got used to one I wouldn't want a machine without now.
Life's too short for ironing.

I've got a knee lift on the Mega Quilter, but it's spent its life with me tucked out of sight, it looked a bit cumbersome and I thought it was maybe just for quilting and didn't bother trying.
