Hi everyone

I’m from Guernsey, and was taught basic sewing at school. I’ve always done bits and bobs but nothing very exciting. However, since having my daughter last year I’ve become interested in making her some clothes.

So far I’ve made her a very simple dress, and just starting on the shorter version as a top. I’ve got a lot to learn though!

Hi there ... You'll need the Lightside then for clothes but are you sure I couldnt tempt you into the Darkside and get you making your lil girl a quilt ?????

When you read a Tut, click on the first pic to bring it up on its own and then click on the i icon (top right of your laptop screen) which should bring up the instructions to the right of the image.

Oh I love Guernsey - we had lots of lovely holidays there when we lived a bit closer to the south coast of England!  Welcome!   :)
