@KayK that is lovely  :loveit:
I have something similar on the go, but have been a little distracted by appliqué with free motion embroidery, and have a few projects in the pipeline, if I ever get the time to get on with it  :S

I bought a book with some Christmas money, called Textile Art, which uses a mix of fabrics, stitches appliqué and want to have a go at some of the amazing things in there, again when I have a moment

Free motion embroidery is quite liberating once you get over the thought of it, and practice practice practice is the key. some are like works of art, others, like mine are 'good enough'

And yes I agree, remembering to breathe is key to it's success  :laughing:

Lovely @KayK:D
I use free motion embroidery for putting names on things and for quilt labels, but have never advanced further.
