It's an extremely rare stone known as Baby Nappy - but commonly called Green Jade - ???? :thumbsup:

Or Peridot, of course! ( WTF?? Peridot??)  Honestly it's a lot lot brighter than it looks here.

I keep looking at the blocks and thinking " those colours don't look right  - not jewel enough " so I had a search in the box and found - all the fabrics I'd pulled for this block carefully folded together and forgotten about - so I'm going to do them again, in the correct colours - Doh!!

I think I’ve caught up. I have made four blocks for block two and five blocks for block one. I thought that I had a week off and the mystery block three would be available on 24th April?
I find it difficult to get the right shade or colour when ordering fabric online so hoping to get to a shop if I don’t have suitable fabric for the block three.

Louise the next block, block 3 will be released on the 24th .. You are correct .. Im just ahead of myself!

And yes for the 5x5 grid, you need FIVE blocks of Block 1 and FOUR of block 2 ... Block 3 will be another FIVE blocks!

I think Im going to add a thin sashing between the blocks in an effort to keep all those lovely points separate so will be cutting the Long strips and the borders this coming month ... If you add sashing you will also be able to QAYG if you like !!

I have finished all four of block 2 now. They are not perfect but I will get better as we go along
