Google Pics

Can anybody explain to me, how to upload images from Google Pics?  I can create a link, but I’d prefer to just upload the image.

You mean to TSP ??? If you find out please tell me

What I have to do is

click on the image in GP to bring it to full size,
click your mouse on top of it,
click save image in the drop down menu

which will then (I assume) save it to your pictures

and then you can upload the image using the attachments feature at the bottom of the text box.

Sorry I dont have a better way.

Yes @Iminei.  I logged into google pics - forgotten that I even had anything on the platform - right clicked on the image and saved it to my iMac desktop and then attached it to the message.

Google pics, dropbox and the like only provide shareable links - there is no picture file extension - .jpg or .jeg  If you want to insert a photo, you first have to save it and then attach it, OR create a .jpg file address using a third party picture editing site such as Lunapic

Google Photos has an odd way of doing things, so you can't simply embed one directly from GP. You can share a link, but that creates a new shared album, not a link to the photo itself.

You have to download the image, then upload it as described earlier.

Quick way to download – select the photo or photos you want, then press SHIFT+D.
