Yesterday I spent a lovely day quilting away and can I say a HUGE thanks to RJR For my add a 1/4 ruler which is exactly the right size to forecast the crossover point on my rectangle quilting ...

I do wish the inch markings on it show up more but am loathed to mark them with a sharpie as Im using it on bright white fabric ... Any ideas how I can do this folks???

Other swapped gifts I find Ive been using everyday is the lil thimble pin cushion which sits (attached with Bluetack) on top of my machine and holds the needles I use to bury my threads.

Thank you ... Was it Acorn???  My Fairy Godmother last Christmas Secret Santa ??

Im posting this just to prove that these gifts do get used and become vital ingredients in my day to day sewing.

I'm glad it has proved useful! In terms of the inch markings you could use a sharpie and then put clear tape over it so the ink is 'trapped between the ruler and the tape. It might make the ruler more slippery though?
