For Sale - Madeira Lana threads

I have decided that as I'm most unlikely to use these, they should be given the chance to go to a better home.   [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]  

I have available 19 spools of Madeira Lana thread, 50% wool/50% acrylic, 200m on each. Also included is an unused pack of 5 machine needles especially for this thread.
The black spool is unused, the remaining ones have had between 5 and 30 turns of thread removed.

There are embroidery designs available that have been specifically digitised for use with this thread which is thicker than the usual rayon or polyester thread that we use. The completed animal designs can be lightly brushed to look more realistic.

I will include, if I can locate it, a CD of suitable designs- mainly cats/dogs etc
These threads are sold by Barnyarns for £3.85 and the needles £4.85 , I am asking for £40 including UK postage

Embroidery Library has some patterns that are specifically designed for thicker threads.

As I said, " these threads are thicker than the usual rayon or polyester threads that we use". The designs for these  threads are especially digitised to make use of the thicker thread.

however I used them for hand embroidery on wool felt, where they are very effective.

Thanks for thinking of me @Iminei but if i dare buy another reel of cotton I’ll be in the divorce courts  i have so much cotton including the DMC chest with every colour going, as you can guess I’m a hoarder especially when it comes to craft stuff.

The only things Ive had to buy is backing fabric as I just dont have 4ms of any one fabric!

So right @Iminei , i was sorting out my craft stuff the other day and i have so much that it was between wardrobe space for clothes or craft stuff, well easy decision for me, one wardrobe of clothes has now been discarded and turned in to more storage space.
