I need a lightweight summer cardi.

I have some lovely Rowan Creative Linen in the stash and so have spent several hours on Ravelry looking for something suitable and have done a couple of swatches.

I prefer patterns that are knitted in one piece where possible as I hate seaming and top down is good as I can juggle length.

I’ve ended up with this https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/amarelle-cardigan

I may be some time :faints: :faints:

Link doesn’t work for me...is it this one?

If it is it’s lovely.... way beyond my skill set!

Yes it is and hopefully I've corrected the link.

It may be beyond my skill set as well.  My problem is once I've seen what I want I tend to get carried away.

@Ellabella that is pretty and looks fun to do, although I find those little bobbly bits*, which are 3 stitches in one, get a bit tedious after a while.
* forgot the correct name - is it blackberry stitch?

It looks lovely - but personally I find lace patterns more difficult than Aran or Fair Isle.  I would use lots of lifelines!

Olive Knits have a lot of top down, seamless patterns, I've had a couple of nice ones.  Don't know if they have any summer cardis.
Life's too short for ironing.

I’ve never heard of Olive Knits before, there is some really nice stuff, booked marked for future.

I’ve bought the Amarelle pattern so am now committed to at least giving it a try

If I don’t resurface soon please send George Cloony with a lifeline :D
