Lining suggestions please.
« on: May 03, 2021, 18:36:21 PM »
I have this fabric that i will make a skirt or dress from but it is light weight and with the light behind it, see through. It will need lining but not sure what to use. I definitely don't want poly/satin in any shape or form. I have looked for a plain light weight swiss cotton but to no avail, it all seems to be dotted. I did have a full roll bought many moons ago from my local shop, now closed, and have used the last of it. Any ideas please.

This is my ‘go to’ cotton lawn lining. It’s slightly sheer but does the job and is a reasonable price.

Thanks every one. @Stitchalot that is perfect. I am going to wait a couple of days before ordering as they have sales pretty regularly.

Cotton lawn - make sure you pre-shrink it!
