I thought it was my tinterweb that was playing up.
Having just logged in and browsed a few pages it seems OK now.
Betcha @Iminei has been piling up quilts onto the server and it was running hot.  :P

I am getting something similar to Twingo; no pictures, just the same little logo thingy. If I click on it my laptop offers to download it for me and I get a black page.  Very odd.

Any ideas, Techies?

Similar to Twingo?  What do you mean?  Mr Twingo hasn't posted here, and nobody has mentioned pictures or logos.

If you click on a picture on the forum your computer will try to download it - that's normal.  If there's just the icon that shows that your computer hasn't been able to load the image then clearly there will be nothing to download.
I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.

I have been trying to post on the sewing bee thread for ages and it keeps failing.

I’m seeing white boxes instead of pictures.

I am often only seeing the top parts of photos - including those which I have posted myself which I know have been resized to a maximum of 500 pixels high/wide and less than 500kb.

If you right-click on the part-picture or the white box and choose 'view image' or 'Open image in new tab' (depending on which browser you're using) does it show the image then?

TSP has been slow for me too, especially over the last couple of days, but not all of the time, and mostly at the end of a catch up period in the evenings, as that is the time when I am online. I have no problems seeing photos, I have had one error message 2 evenings ago.

I am getting half of some of the side pictures and members loaded pictures have top only.

I've only just popped in but don't seem to have any problems on the tablet. Perhaps it's been sorted?
Hopefully back more regularly! Ballroom sewing may be permanently paused but bag making is the current focus.

Been slow for a couple of days, but only had an error message once. I was going to mention it yesterday evening  - I thought we had a thread for this? - but got sidetracked. Running much better today so whatever @Acorn said when she finally got through must have had an effect!

@Acorn   No :'(

Earlier on today clicking on download image at the bottom of a post would get the whole thing, but this evening that's not working either.

Very long day at work, and my daughter's birthday have kept me away.

I've had no problems at all with speed or accessing pages. Everything has been wonderfully smooth for quite a while for me. But I'll keep monitoring to see if it hits me...
