I don't "do"photos which limits my ability to join in with things as @Iminei will testify.
I post from my cheap Kindle Fire tablet.

As for resizing photos - most apps resize by kB now rather than pixels. I reduce all my photos to 300-400kb on here but they still appear larger. They are not as high resolution but perfectly fine for on here

I try to be good and resize my piccies by pixels but ultimately it gives me the kB size.  If mine are ever too big I’d love someone to tell me.   

I didn’t have problems the other day when everyone else was but noticed yesterday some avatars were black.
