OMG !!!! I have found my happy place! A website called www.cotton-color.com . Swiss based and it has every single patchwork fabric in the world ( I maybe exaggerate a little) I've ordered my Boom fabric. Hope it arrives quickly!!

I have some Effervescence by Robert Kaufmann but probably only a metre of two colourways ...

and I'd probably be really picky and ask for neutrals, blacks, greys and whites to partner it ... Which would not be so good!

Why would neutrals not be good? I'm sure people have lots of neutrals lying around- I know I do (I have just sorted out my scraps and FQs and they  were the biggest haha

I'll pop back on later to check final numbers, send out my address details etc. But thought I would share the fabric I've chosen. I saw it in the fabric shop this morning and thought it would be perfect as it will allow so many colour and fabric  choices - I'm really excited to see what people choose!   [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

That's a really lovely fabric and gives lots of possibilities for for colour choices to make the blocks. 

Will you be asking for black backgrounds in the blocks?

@BrendaP no, I am just going to ask for colours and patterns that match any of the hearts on your piece - they are all quite strong, bold colours which I love. I wouldn't want any white or cream for example as that doesn't appear anywhere. So if the design does need a background that isn't 'coloured' then black would probably make the most sense. I can imagine blocks where this print is the background and the main design is in a different colour/print as well...
