OK so here's my fabric:  [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

I've washed and pressed it and cut it up only to find I didn't order enough, so one of the packages contains another fabric that goes with.

If I send you a Paypal for £10 will that cover  all the postages, cos there is extra cost associated  with mine added to the UK postage and envelopes.

Ooooooohhhhh Aaaaaahhhhhh ... lovely!

What background colour are you going for ??

Black for drama or a white/cream to suit the ground of the fabric ??

Wishing I was involved now!

Definitely white/cream depending on what is in the fabric.  IMO black will kill it.

Most of the fabrics shown so far are multicoloured and I think that we should try to choose blenders/plains from the colours already in the focus fabric and not add any more.  If something else is needed it can be added at the quilt assembly stage.  The monochrome purple fabric is a different matter.  Possibly a floral with toning purple flowers and also the green (or whatever) from the foliage.  Or go bold and use the opposite ie orange?

BTW, monochrome means one colour not black and white.  That's achromatic.

So this is the fabric I was leaning towards:

it's a little less aqua in the colored constellations and more a plain sky blue. I like it, but is it a little boring to add other fabrics to?
I have another contender:

It's a fun one, although cut up into small bits, the pattern might be lost.
US to UK, brought all the fabric and yarn with me

That motto fabric would lend itself to fussy cuts wouldn't it?

@BrendaP your fabric arrived - it looks bold but lush! I think you’re right about people’s colours (Pearl isn’t sending the purple fabric now but a more multicoloured batik).

@whofilets thankyou for payment. I like both fabrics. I would probably end up doing more traditional patchwork with the top fabric but the bottom one I would fussy cut within a patchwork block or maybe a simple EPP block of sorts

@Efemera your fabric arrived this weekend - it is gorgeous! I've posted a pic of it here as I don't think others have seen it yet. It is actually a bit more greeny turquoise than this pic shows. Effy is asking for no Batiks or purples   [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Sorry for the radio silence - my hubby had some quite major surgery this week so it has been... interesting!

@Pearl and @Catllar both your fabrics arrived today! So just one more to arrive and then I can redistribute and send out!
