Go on,
@RJR_38
. Pretty please.
Hi Pearl,
I have just messaged Imi to say that at the moment with work the way it is I can’t commit to running another at the moment. Since September things have been crazy and I can’t see it dying down any time soon so aim having to prioritise - I’m sorry. I did say that if anyone else wanted to host it with the same rules etc I wouldn’t mind at all

Would anybody be interested in a Summer Boom ???
If
@RJR_38
explains it to me and allows me to take the reins I would be happy to host.

Me. I’d love to join in.
Or I could make a quilt with the blocks I received last time.

What is a boom
(she says quietly as she feels slightly embarrassed not knowing as everyone else obviously does)?

As it neared the top of the grade, it went more slowly. However, it still kept saying, "I—think—I—can, I—think—I—can." It reached the top by drawing on bravery and then went on down the grade, congratulating itself by saying, "I thought I could, I thought I could."

No need to be embarrassed,
@Bumblebuncher
. I only know because we did it last year. It’s a bit complicated to explain but I’m sure you’d love to join in.
Each participant buys a feature fabric. I think last year it was about 1.5m. We cut it into fat eighths and sent them to RJR. She then sent a fat eighth of each participant’s fabric to each of us. We used it with our own stash fabric to make a block for each person and sent them all back to RJR. We then received blocks made with our feature fabric by the other participants. Yes, I know. Clear as mud.
This might help.

@Iminei
I did think about it. Then realised a stash may be a necessary and I don't have a stash lol But I did want to follow along what others did

I thought about it too, but as I still haven't put together all the lovely blocks from the first time around ...
