All done.

I didn’t quilt the sashing. I used the embroidery machine to embroider nine patterns per block. I used stash flamingo fabric for the back. I bought the blue binding fabric. The sashing is material from @TartanPaint in the swap.

Thankyou for organising this @RJR_38, and to everyone who donated a block. I think it’s a lovely little quilt. Approx 45” square.   [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

@fajita that is gorgeous, I love the colours  :D

As it neared the top of the grade, it went more slowly. However, it still kept saying, "I—think—I—can, I—think—I—can." It reached the top by drawing on bravery and then went on down the grade, congratulating itself by saying, "I thought I could,  I thought I could."

No, @Iminei. 1718 is still hanging above my stairs.

The one behind is my old faithful in batik fabric.

So I've cut all the sashing and the corner squares and it's all packed away with the new sewing machine for its trip to Montpellier.

This thread's gone very quiet - are they all done in secret??

I've pieced my top and I think it's going to be a table cloth with just a plain white backing and no wadding. This is mainly because I have no wadding and can't face sourcing it at the moment, nor do I have any backing fabric other than plain white!

@Catllar , I could bring you wadding if we didn’t have a petrol shortage.

I need to buy some fabric for sashing and setting triangles, and I want to see it in real life, not mail order, so that the colour is right.  I went to Rochester on Thursday only to find that the P&Q shop there now only opens Tues, Wed, Fri and Sat.   :scream:
