Ihave been given a Singer 367 which a friend rescued from a skip.  Dates from 1974 I think, and made in Italy.

I've oiled and de-fluffed it, though it wasn't that bad, replaced the 13amp fuse with a 3amp one! and given it a new needle.

It sort of sews, but misses more stitches than it catches. :'(
I'm using Guetermann Sew All.  The top tension feels very tight and has to be at about 0-1 to sew at all.

is it worth fiddling with or shall I return it to the skip?
Brenda.  My machines are: Corona, a 1953 Singer 201K-3, Caroline, a 1940 Singer 201K-3, Thirza, 1949 Singer 221K, Azilia, 1957 Singer 201K-MK2 and Vera, a Husqvarna 350 SewEasy about 20 years old. Also Bernina 1150 overlocker and Elna 444 Coverstitcher.

Is it possible to remove the bottom bobbin and clean and alter the tension on the bottom? That might improve the skipping and allow you to lessen the top tension?

Thank you @LeilaMay   but I've decided that it didn't cost me anything, and it's a low spec plasticy machine, so it's going back to the skip from whence it came.  Unless anyone else wants it for free!

I'm going to try putting one of my 201s into the table.

Sounds like a plan  :)
What is the table like? Any chance of a pic? I have no room anymore but love to look  :)

@LeilaMay   it's a plain 1970s job.

The white spacer came off the 367 - there are screwholes on both machines in exactly the same places to join it to the base, it just needs to be painted black and then I'll have to remove the power connector to get both wires through the holes in the spacer.
